Exhibition 2 - "North East Wildlife"

For some time since doing a number of wildlife shoots I had been wanting to exhibit the work somewhere. By a few chance messages, I discovered that the Washington Wetlands Centre offered a corridor space on a monthly basis to artists/photographers. I picked my slot for February (2017), hoping that the extra footfall during the half term break would get more views and feedback. Although I wasn't around to hear much of the public's thoughts, I was delighted to hear the staff's kind words, particularly about the otter images. Although I had learned a few things from my first show, I took on even more 'notes to self' from this one - namely to frame images as they would have been much easier to hang and would perhaps have not succumbed to damage by busy people walking by a tad close to the pieces.......you live and learn!
